What generosity !!! Congrats gals.
The news broadcasts for the past couple of days mentioned that the Queen Salote College festivities recorded in our Photo Gallery collected over 1/2 a million pa'anga. Over TOP$300,000 was collected by for the ex-students' association and a new departure was the especial concern from students, alumni and friends to provide needed funding for the current school needs. According to the principal, over TOP$200,000 was collected for the school's recurring needs.

The Monday of the festival I was walking through the school and took this snap of the 1st classroom I passed. The Form 1(?) building at the manga-faa. Apart from windows with incomplete louvres, doors that don't lock, walls that look like they are from some communist war-zone?

Ki'i laka si'i hifo pe eni ia he 'aaa moa, but by how much ?
Thank you all for your generosity, but we shouldn't forget the question that comes from this report. What the hee-bee-gee-bees did the ex-students spend TOP$70,000+ on for the festivities ?
Have we forgotten our roots in poverty that we have just spent the equivalent of 3 furbished class rooms? Taken on the Monday of the festivities, we still have class rooms with holes in the floor, lack of desks for students, a library that isn't worth bothering with (send your students to other libraries if you want them to read.) How much more does it need to be spelled out ?
You should make your executive committee a little bit more accountable or this $70,000 dollars will become something else.
