Great News for US bound Tongans.

Tonfon has recently advertised a new rate for the USA of only USD$0.25 per minute to call Tonga.

That meets the price of Sams Club phone cards while you get to support a Tonga company (if that means something to you.)
As seen here on previous discussions, Tonfon had promoted their phone card prices as the cheapest, at USD$0.75 a minute from the USA to Tonga.

We published that this was not the case, Sams Club was offering USD$0.25 a minute without any fanfare.

After speaking with a few people at Tonfon and stating to them that they are wrong about their US prices, it seems the message has gone through to the upper echelon. Not necessarily because we had anything to do with it.

Suffice it to say, congratulations to phone users in the USA for getting such a great rate. Here's hoping that something similar can crop up for the rest of the Tongan bods scattered around the world.
